Thanks to Alternating Current for all their support. They do a lot of fine work as a press and their passion in highlighting writers they believe in is something that benefits both readers and writers.
One of my poems, October, was chosen as a Notable Mention in the Luminaire Poetry Award. This is in addition to being awarded second place in the Luminaire Award for my poem Reign.
The winners are selected by an external panel that judges all pieces blindly and selects the full list of 12 finalists from hundreds of entries. Alternating Current does not determine the final outcome for the judging; the external judges’ decisions are final. Notable Mentions receive publication on The Current and printed publication in the forthcoming literary journal, Poiesis Review #7.

Thanks to the Northern Writers Awards for awarding me a New North Poets award alongside Kathleen Bainbridge Moran, David Borrott, Tom Cleary, James Giddings and Jasmine Simms.
